Fides Warehouse Management -Unilever
Unilever is a global company selling fast-moving consumer goods, and has operations in more than 190 countries. Unilever Pakistan uses SAP system to streamline its various departments. However SAP was not implemented at certain warehouse units. Such non-mechanized locations required extensive manual work which was prone to human errors, and consumed significant time.
Fides proposed its SaaS based WMS to Unilever to meet the above challenges. The WMS was customized keeping in view client’s operational requirements of non-mechanized warehouses.
The system was secured through SSL, and supports inbound shipment, outbound shipment, customer promotion, returns alongwith analytics and management reports. Any number of locations and users can access the application. There is a consolidated view of all locations and reporting dashboard for the management. The WMS provided the much needed efficiency and automation at client warehouses.
Fides WMS went live on 24 June 2019 at Faisalabad DC and is being extended to other locations.
